Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving to Los Angeles California. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 following a civil ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the main Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she was ready to return to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large presence on social media.
